In 2023, Jackson Communications was engaged to handle public relations and media strategy for the NAACP National Convention, held in Boston. Initially anticipating around 5,000 attendees, the NAACP sought to significantly boost attendance while enhancing media visibility for the event. Through a targeted PR strategy, Jackson Communications developed a comprehensive plan that included crafting press releases, media pitches, and social media content tailored to reach local and national outlets. 

We collaborated with key media partners and influencers, securing coverage from major news platforms, including TV, radio, and online publications. Our team also engaged in community outreach to ensure the event resonated with local audiences, emphasizing the convention's importance for Boston and the broader African American community. 

By creating a consistent, high-impact media presence, we successfully increased event visibility, ultimately driving attendance from an expected 5,000 to over 13,000 attendees in just five weeks. The convention garnered positive media coverage from coast to coast, establishing it as one of the most successful NAACP conventions in recent years.
